Currently, I have three Revenant Elite Cajun Rods rigged with Shimano Curado DC reels. I have never had a better rod & reel combination. The Revenant Elite is durable and sensitive to fish bites. If you target trout, reds, and flounder, you need a Revenant Elite for your soft plastics. You will be impressed with the distance you can cast a 1/8 oz. lure.
I was first introduced to Cajun rods by a client of mine. In trying several different models, which I liked them all. The developer of these rods recommended the Revenant Elite series. Best choice ever. These rods are super tough, very sensitive and surprisingly light. They fish with me on the boat and kayak. I've caught fish well outside their designated weight. Well worth the modest investment compared to other premium rod lines.
