Custom Savannah 843

I thought I had ordered two Custom Savannah 842's (7' Med-Fast), so I was surprised when two 843's (7' Med-Hvy, Fast) showed up. Looked at my order, and sure enough, I mistakenly ordered the wrong rods. Called Cajun and spoke with Jess. She is so friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. Jess was very willing to work with me for a return of the two 843's in exchange for two 842's that I originally wanted. However, while on the phone with Jess, the longer I held and looked at the 843's, I changed my mind and told Jess I'd just keep the two 843's, and order two 842's. I also ordered custom thread colors with Texas trout & redfish marks added. Jess worked with me to insure I was satisfied with the location and adjustment of the first guide to fit the fish mark at 20" so as not to interfere with the guide thread wrap. It is so nice to deal with a person & company concerned with customer satisfaction. The rods are well made, light, and well balanced with my Curado 150HG and Tatula 100 SV TW. Haven't used them yet, but feel confident they will perform well from the reviews I've read. Planning to use the 843's for redfish and the 842's for speckled trout. Also rods were well packaged in appropriate hard cardboard tubes with many "Fragile" labels. Shipped by USPS without any sign of damage. I'm sure I will eventually own more Cajun rods!
