Short.....so-called

This rod(my 2nd one ordered)is an answer to a need for a shorter rod that is good on the front of the boat or fishing from the shore. Spinnerbait, jig/chatterbait, topwater, Senko rig! 6-1/2' to 7' is the norm and longer now and I cannot understand why(unless you are throwing heavy swim baits or large 8XD Crankbaits). If I need more backbone..................I have it but, why if you don't need a longer rod. This thing slings a 1/2oz. spinnerbait(or jig) just the way I need it to.
