I can only comment on the appearance of the rod and its ability to hold a reel, but so far the quality has been great. You can tighten the reel very securely to the rod and the eyes allow a gf knot to flow freely on 30lbs power pro to mono. Theres a great deal of flex I have put the rods through, but yet to get out and test them on the water. Overall very satisfied with the quality, shipping packing, and strength of the reel holding mechanism.
