Pete GossI’m an avid freshwater and saltwater fisherman in the Greater Jacksonville/North Florida region, with numerous species of both fresh and saltwater fish under my belt. I prefer to target Largemouth Bass, Speckled Sea Trout, Flounder and Redfish/Red Drum. As an experienced angler, I’ve been fishing for over 50 years now. I’ve traveled all over the United States to explore world-class fisheries including: Table Rock Lake, Lake Okeechobee, Lake Toho and Rodman Reservoir. I’ve been known to fish from the bank, piers, and several years back I started kayak fishing and now own a small boat. This has expanded my fishing range and numbers as well as the size of my catches.Recently, I met Cajun Custom Rods® at the 2016 Jacksonville Classic Kayak Tournament and once I tried a Cajun Rod – “I was hooked for life!” I make it my business to know my way around the intercostal, Florida lakes, and rivers that I frequent. I also pride myself on knowing that the equipment I use is durable, sensitive, and performs the way I expect. I’ve fished my fair share of rods over the years, but honestly, the Cajun Rods have delivered the performance that I expect in a fishing rod (every time I hit the water!) but at a price that is more than reasonable in the marketplace. Heck – my Cajun Rods cost half what I’ve paid for other brands and it outperforms them every time.
