I’m Jw Meche, born and raised in Cajun country of Lafayette Louisiana. My dad was an avid tournament bass angler, he sparked the passion of fishing when I was just a kid. Grew up fishing in the Atchafalaya Basin and Toledo Bend. 

 It all started with a 14ft flat with an old 18hp evinrude outboard running the swamp of the Basin and surrounding area. Over the years I upgraded and started venturing out both fresh and salt water. From local bass club tournaments to afternoon Derbys or just fishing for fun, It’s what I do. 

   During the Spring and summer I bass fishing on Toledo Bend, The best lake in the country. This is where I spend most of my available time. Whether it’s flipping a jig with a  Savannah 844 or throwing a top water bait with a Savannah 842 my Cajun Rods get it done.The  fall and winter I chase speckled trout in southwest Louisiana. My go to is a Savannah 842 tossing around a jerk bait looking for the sow trout.
