Born and raised in Lompoc California, I have been fishing since I could walk. In the early seventies I got my first fishing pole, a pocket fisherman, it was magic. It has been over a half century since that gift, now retired in Klamath Falls Oregon, I teach fishing to hundreds of children and guests every year at the famous Lake of the Woods.

I head up all fishing events and festivals and am the resorts “Fishing Director”. I have authored six books, my latest “Terrible at Fishing Instruction Manual for Freshwater Fishing”. My YouTube Channel “Terrible at Fishing” has thousands of views every month.

I own six Cajun Rods, almost all in the Trigger series since light tackle is my favorite. I am mostly a Bass fisherman in a trout part of the country. I make custom painted baits for this area. I am an avid BFS fan.

I discovered Cajun online, Google search. Last year I lost everything almost dying in freezing water when my kayak flipped. I wanted the best to replace my losses, Cajun is the best decision I made in my new equipment.

My personal best is a 27" German Brown at Lake of the woods, 3.5lb large mouth and a 3lb small mouth. I have a black bayou and four triggers I fish with with one more on the way.
