Chris SimoneauxI’m Chris Simoneaux and I grew up inshore saltwater fishing in South Louisiana, as well as hunting in the swamps of Lake Maurepas. As a young lad my father took me out on the boat to make a trip as early as I can remember, from catching trout on a snoopy pole and picking up fish and measuring them to put in the ice chest as they were slung in the boat. My passion for fishing has grown tremendously since then. I now live in Chalmette, LA which is a short ride to Hopedale, Delacroix, or Shell beach. When I got tired or replacing rods from other companies, I was introduced to Cajun Rods® last year at the Louisiana Sportsman show in New Orleans, LA at the beginning of 2018 and have not looked back since. I am now able to fulfill my Speckled Trout and Redfish limits with ease and without worry.
