Fishing Rod Builder

Ready to turn your passion for fishing into a career?  Hudson Fishing Products, the makers of Cajun Rods, is actively seeking detail oriented candidates who work well with their hands for the position of Fishing Rod Builder in our factory in Oakwood Village, OH. The job will consist of wrapping guides onto fishing rod blanks, fitting and affixing fishing rod grips and reel seats, applying finishing epoxy to wrapped guides as well as other tasks related to building fishing rods and/or day to day operations. No previous rod building experience is needed, all training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Affixing and tying guides on to fishing rods using a motorized thread wrapping machine
• Fitting and epoxying handle systems and reel seats on to rod blanks
• Applying epoxy to guides

Requirements:

• Detail oriented
• Great hand eye coordination
• Desire to join a positive team environment and contribute with a helpful mindset
• Follow direction
• Follow through on each process with a willingness to see a job to completion 
• Time management skills, reliability, and punctuality

Job Type: Full-time or part-time

Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour
