As a fishing guide of 17 years I’ve been through a lot of rods and that stopped when I started fishing with the Cajun Custom rod (Revenant 7’med/hvy).
These rods have held up great against all skill levels of customers. As a guide I need quality gear that won’t tear up every time someone mishandles it , These rods are fast action for when I’m popping corks on speckle trout and have a back bone that can hold up to the hardest fighting red fish in the marsh. 7 ft. Revenant™ Series
This is our second Revenant rod. Both are light, durable, and sensitive. First fish on the casting rod was a 40 inch northern pike that was a bonus fish while throwing chatterbaits for bass. Rod handled the situation perfectly with no issues. Good all around rod for fishing multiple types of lures and fish species.
I own a bunch rods, including eight Cajun rods (Coastal Kayak, Savanah, Atled, Valor and now Revenant). I have the Revenant medium casting rod and it is really nice. Not nice for a $100 rod, but really nice period. I like it for moving baits like crankbaits, chatterbaits and the like. It feels good in the hand. It casts well and is accurate. It has good flex down the blank so I would not use for jigs or texas rigs, etc. For the price point it is a steal.
