Perfect Speckled Trout Rods

My Atleds are my go to rods for all things speckled trout. I have several bait casters and spinning rods. I can throw a cork for miles with the spinning rods, while the bait caster works great from a 1/8 single jig head to double 3/8 jig heads. I highly recommend the Atled series.

Wanted to use it a bit before I reviewed it

I’m really impressed with this rod. I’m pretty picky when it comes to the way I want my rods to feel and perform. The Alted 872 is an outstanding rod. In the short time I’ve used it I’ve caught several over slot reds and quite a few slot sized reds also. I purchased this rod specifically to throw small to medium sized paddle tails on light hooks, 1/16 and 1/8 oz mostly. It has performed extremely well, soft enough of a tip to throw the light stuff but plenty of back bone to land over slot reds. In fact I got a little over zealous and bent a jig head hook putting too much force on a fish. I also have a Revenant Elite from Cajun that is just as good. I would recommend this for anyone that is looking for a great all around inshore rod.
