I’ve been using the Black Bayou™ 905 for targeting yellow commons and buffalo carp at pay-lakes across South Carolina and North Carolina, and I’ve been really impressed. This rod has the perfect blend of strength and sensitivity—it’s got the backbone to handle hard runs from big fish, but still lets me feel subtle pickups.

The Black Bayou 905 is my heavy cover and big bait rod. I use this rod for punching 5/8 up to 1-1/4 ounce Texas Rigs, Alabama Rigs and big swimbaits. I’ve boat flipped six pounders with the Black Bayou 905!
CAUTION: I throw baits over the recommended weight rating for this rod and that may void the warranty!
Gotta be the best rod company out there. Hands down will only be the rods I use from now on.
